For example- Scale & proportion....If a bride is a very petite 5 ft with a mermaid style gown, her bouquet would need to be much smaller than a bride that is 5'9 with the full flowing skirt and cathedral train. The same formula is used in determining the scale for the main focal flowers in either church or reception. If the venue is small and quaint....the pieces are much smaller......If the venue has 40 ft vaulted ceilings, small rounded shorter centerpieces would be insignificant.....You would need pieces with the visual weight to keep everything in scale. Proportion is everything in design....
